Charpy Impact
The pendulum designed by Georges Charpy is used in this test to determine a material's toughness. It involves impact testing of a notched specimen that is flexed at three points. The pendulum falls onto the back of the specimen, deforming it. The difference between the pendulum's initial height (h) and its final height after impact (h') allows the measurement of the energy absorbed during the fracture process. Strictly speaking, the energy absorbed in the area under the load curve is measured; this displacement is known as resilience.
We have an automatic arming impact pendulum, with a range of 0 to 150j or 0 to 300J.
Accuracy: 1J (0-150J) and 2J (0-300J)
Temperature: controlled with a conditioning machine, controlled with PLC, with a capacity of +30 to -60°C.
The notch is made using an automated machine, resulting in a notch that is perfect in depth, angle, and inclination. The notch is verified with an optical profile projector specifically designed for Charpy impact test specimens.
Rules:
ASTM E23 / ASTM A370
Guided Folding
We can perform various types of bending, whether in materials or welding.
Our testing machine has a capacity of up to 400 kN, controlled testing speed, rollers that can be separated up to 1,200 mm, and diameters starting from 6 mm. We can manufacture special rollers according to customer requests.

Bent Studs
We perform stud bending at various angles, according to AWS or ASME standards. Bending is done using a special bending tool or a hammer. This test is used to qualify welding procedures and the skill of welders and/or welding operators.
